Client is a grower in the food industry

In recent times we have successfully obtained a grant for a grower in the food industry. A grower looking to achieve value added income to his regular product approached us to obtain a grant for him to invest capital into equipment and research to develop his product.

We approached AusIndustry for a grant to develop and market the product. In the course of our submission we were required to produce a market survey to demonstrate the acceptability and viability of the product. Our initial survey was rejected and this derailed our application. We organised another survey adopting a different approach, which was more detailed and intrusive. This was unanimously accepted and the application proceeded on track.

The final outcome for our client was to receive a grant of $300,000 towards development and marketing of his product. This product then received an award at the annual Food Industry Show as being the most innovative product of the year.
